Party Space in Brooklyn, NY is a thoughtfully designed venue where the community comes together to celebrate, connect, and create. Located at the crossroads of Gowanus, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, and Park Slope, the space is both central and distinctly Brooklyn.
Originally built in 1916 as a vehicle restoration shop, the building was transformed in 2013 into a private events venue. Its industrial origins remain an asset today, allowing for on-floor vehicle displays—making the space especially well suited for automotive showcases, brand activations, and experiential events. The venue now provides a striking setting for weddings, corporate gatherings, photoshoots, and private celebrations, blending historic character with contemporary refinement.
The venue offers three distinct event spaces, supported by attentive service: a covered atrium, an elegant cocktail bar, and a light-filled reception hall designed to accommodate large installations and displays. Design details include Modo chandeliers by Jason Miller, custom Flavor Paper wallpaper, and a vaulted skylight that spans the length of the main hall. Each element is locally sourced and thoughtfully curated, reflecting Brooklyn’s signature mix of industrial heritage and modern sophistication.

Our rental fees are $12k per day (including 14 hours of access), but we are offering you an exclusive discount of 25% off per day
Venue staff is $2,000 per event day which includes 1 security, 1 venue manager, and our cleaning crew before, during and after the event
We also charge NY state tax and a 12% admin fee

We allow outside caterers, but highly recommend starting with our preferred list — these trusted partners know the venue inside and out and are familiar with our service standards and logistics. We’re happy to accommodate other caterers, including restaurants, food trucks, and drop-off services, as long as they provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming 499 Union Inc. as additionally insured. Please ask our team for more specific instructions when it comes to insurance.
